As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing FPGA functionality for advanced network test equipment. This includes handling design specifications, documentation, coding, simulation, debugging, and verification, while supporting the product throughout its lifecycle. You will work in a collaborative, small team that oversees the entire product design, coordinating closely with PCB, firmware, software, and product verification teams to ensure seamless integration. Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited university, in an Engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years design and development of high-speed digital systems
  • Knowledge of high-level description languages such as Verilog
  • Telecommunications and networking knowledge is useful
  • Candidates should have excellent FPGA testing and debugging skills
  • Hands-on system design and engineering of high-performance systems
  • Understanding of Intel Architecture x86 with Linux operating systems
  • High-performance computer systems and component knowledge is useful
  • Experience with Siemens Questa simulation software and AMD/Xilinx FPGA devices preferred
  • Candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills and be highly organized and self-motivated

Responsibilities:

  • Development responsibilities include design, simulation, implementation, verification, and documentation of FPGA devices
  • Design work typically includes coding in Verilog, constraint definition, simulation, and routing.
  • Perform Hardware Design Verification Test procedures
